Elevation 6 Pty Ltd respects your privacy. This statement explains what we do with personal information collected through elevation6.com.
What we collect
If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, company name, phone number and message you provide. Company name and phone number are optional.
If you subscribe to our security digest, we collect your name and email address.
Our hosting provider automatically logs technical information about visits, including IP address, browser type and pages requested. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.
Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The digest sign-up form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, which may set its own cookies. Brevo may record whether digest emails are opened and which links are clicked. We use this only to improve the digest.
Why we collect it
We use the information you submit through the contact form to respond to your enquiry, including by phone if you give us your number, and, where relevant, to discuss how we might work together. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
If you subscribe to the digest, we use your name and email address only to send it. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
We use the following service providers to operate the site, receive enquiries and send the digest:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and provides security services.
- Web3Forms processes contact form submissions and forwards them to us.
- Google LLC provides our email through Google Workspace, and reCAPTCHA on the digest sign-up form.
- Brevo sends the digest and stores our subscriber list.
These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. We select providers we consider reputable, but we cannot control their operations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business dealings, and then delete it. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep it.
We keep digest subscriber details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are delivered to a mailbox protected by multi-factor authentication. No system is completely secure, but we apply the same standards to our own information that we advise clients to apply to theirs.
Access and correction
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us through the form and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this statement. The current version is always at elevation6.com/privacy, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
